Terms of Service

1.Provider and service

The provider is the following person, who runs DualMod as a private individual (no company) from Switzerland:

DualMod links Discord accounts to Roblox accounts and offers moderation, reward, report, suggestion and bug-report tools for Discord servers and Roblox experiences. The service is offered free of charge.

2.No affiliation with Roblox or Discord

DualMod is an independent project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by or checked by Roblox Corporation or Discord Inc. Roblox and Discord are trademarks of their respective owners. Their own terms apply to your use of those platforms.

3.Requirements

You need a Discord account and, for verification, a Roblox account. You must have reached the minimum age of those platforms and may only link accounts that belong to you.

4.Acceptable use

You must not abuse the service. In particular, the following is prohibited:

• false or malicious reports, suggestions or bug reports,
• spam, overloading the service and bypassing safeguards,
• unlawful, insulting or discriminatory content,
• linking accounts that are not yours or giving false identity details.

5.Responsibility of server staff

Administrators and moderators are responsible for the settings, roles and moderation actions on their own server, including bans in their own Roblox experience and their entries in player files. They must comply with applicable law and the rules of Discord and Roblox. For data protection information see the Privacy Policy.

6.Reports and ban-evasion protection

Depending on the server’s settings, reports may be shared with other servers (cross-report). If verification detects an account linked to an account banned on the server, it is banned automatically. If you think this is a mistake, contact the server team or us and ask for a review.

7.Availability and changes

We aim for stable operation but cannot promise constant availability. Features may change, be added or be discontinued. Maintenance and faults can interrupt the service from time to time.

8.Suspension

We or a server team can restrict or remove access at any time, for example in case of abuse. You can stop using the service at any time and ask us to delete your data (see the Privacy Policy).

9.Liability

The service is provided as-is. We are liable without limit for intent and gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and where mandatory law (for example product liability law) requires it. In cases of slight negligence we are only liable for breach of essential contractual duties and limited to the typical, foreseeable damage. Otherwise liability is excluded to the extent permitted by law.

10.Intellectual property

The DualMod name, logo, design and software are protected. You only receive the right to use the service as intended. For content you submit, you grant us and the respective server team the non-exclusive right to store and display it to run the feature.

11.Changes to these terms

We may change these terms, for example for new features or changes in the law. The version published here applies. We will point out material changes in a suitable way.

12.Governing law and jurisdiction

Swiss law applies, excluding its conflict-of-laws rules. Mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you live (in particular in Germany and the EU) remain unaffected, as does your right to sue at the court of your place of residence where mandatory law provides for it.

13.Severability

If a provision is invalid, the rest stays in force.
